Company Dinner 2008

Hello hiao ehs!

Yea yea, i know i know..been a long time since i last contributed to this blog. See i'm giving priority to write this blog 1st before my own..hehe. Touched or not? So got alot to say la but nvm..show pics better. Pictures speaks louder than words right? This pics are from my company dinner recently at Saloma Bistro, the food sux big time btw.

Anyways, we have to perform..kinda silly right? Even the managers have to, so bo huat, new hires gotta perform too. Our theme was 50's & we only took 3 days to get ready. Very last minute notice.

So as for my group, we had a band that sings 1st before dance 50's/60's from the Hairspray movie..any of u seen it? The movie's really good. Managed to find the broadway clip of Hairspray from YouTube. Man sui YouTube! hahaha..if wanna follow the steps from the movie sure pengsan wan. Cannot master in time. I was the so called choreographer, the bad one! cannot compare to our hiao-eh, secretary who's been coaching us since high school on our 60's dance eh? Stole a few steps from our old moves & some steps here & there..haha. So gonna bring back old memories for u guys as well..since i think we're like always the gang to be performing 60's dance eh? hahah. We went to rent our costumes..mine was not rented la..cannot find a suitable one. Got it from my sis in the end. Then our hairdo was done in Headline, KL Plaza. So here are the pics, will explain as i go :

This is the manager's 1st opening act. All of them are Marilyn Monroe's wanna-bes. Some are guys btw. See if you can spot the difference..hehe. They had the dresses & shoes custom made & a professional make-up artiste..haha. They were good & very sporting. There's so many types of Marilyn Monroe, the cute/sexy/scary & etc. Some pics are best not to be displayed..damn wild..hahah

Here's our dance. I hope it bringing back old memories :D too many pics..cannot put all in. Our dear colleague was made sacrifice to play John Travolta in Hairspray..haha..you should see the difference. He's so pretty..he has to shape his eyebrow btw. He had his makeup in Headline as well & the gal was persuading him to shape it so it'll look more real. Damn chun man, his eyebrow. All the gals in the office were envy of his ever so shapely eyebrows & all guys in the office felt like beating him up. lol. Nobody could really recognise him that nite nor when they saw him in the pics (for those who didn't go). So he was a success! haha

Our ending. No, both of them did not kiss! Dun get the wrong idea :P

So here we are after our dance. Busy snapping pics..hehe. The indian guy is one of the Female's 50 most beautiful people last yr. Part time model. The green shirt malay guy is from PFS & he dated one of our seniors during high school time, whom is actually working in the same company now. Small world eh? So, any chun guys gham me wan? Give me a holla..hahah

That's me! I so love my hair & my dress..hhehehe. Some of the gals was complementing my hair, & i was like 'I know, isn't it pretty'. Damn perasan..but I just couldn't help it..hahah.

The sexy me. We had the dance floor opened up after the whole event. Played all those cool 50's/60's music..even our old dance musics are all in. So so happy, ma dance lor :P HP MOC gotta keep her reputation right? If not, later kena kicked out from the club pulak. So approve of this pic or not hiao ehs? My reputation in the office all gone d lo..everyone calling me a party gal..even b4 they see this pic. Dunno where they get the idea from. I was so properly dressed in the office..formal leh. After looking at the pic, they were like 'confirmed la, she's a party gal' cham =_="

That's it. Btw, we won 3rd price out of 5 bands. Some says we we should've gotten 2nd. Whatever..all we get was hamper. Anyway, I was so thankful the dance went well, eventhough i was a lousy choreographer, I wanted to pull this together :D

Went back early that nite..was actually sick the whole week..had fever & non-stop coughing. Surprise, surprise. Getting old d :S
